i was just browsing the net and found slovakia online. my father came to the
 u.s. in 1924 from brno, my mothers parents came from kladno in the late 1800's.
 my mother and her sisters and brothers were born here in the u.s. my fathers
 name was jaroslav, and being the third and last of the children they were to
 have, they gave the name to me. unfortunately i can speak absolutely no word of
 the czech language,even though as a child we used to attend the sokol
 gymnastics club weekly and monthly meetings. i feel compelled to tell you all
 this about me just in case you might know of any of my relatives still in
 either the czech republic or slovakia. as i said my dad's name was the same as
 mine, my mother's maiden name was florian. i've only been on the internet for a
 month so this is really quite  exciting for me.  i'm a film and video cameraman
 in houston, texas.  if you are using netscape 2.0 you can view my web page at
