 Internet Fraud List

 The Securities and Exchange Commission announced civil lawsuits
 Wednesday alleging Internet investment fraud against these companies
 and individuals: 

 David Abramson, of New York City, for allegedly selling bogus interests
 in a company called Brightstar, which was said to have a new process for
 extracting gold from ore. 

 Abacus International Holding Corp. and Arthur Agustin, of Alameda,
 Calif., for allegedly selling phony ``prime bank'' securities. 

 Richard Briden, of Ashland, Mass., Empowerment Funding Group LLC
 and Infopro Group Ltd. for allegedly offering fraudulent ``prime bank''
 trading programs. 

 Future Strategies Srl, based in Modena, Italy, for allegedly selling sham
 ``card purchase orders'' in a pyramid scheme. 

 HDG Investment Corp. and Paul Edwards, a Canadian citizen living in
 Prague, Czech Republic, for allegedly selling investments in a fictitious
 ``prime bank'' program promising a 20-to-1 return in 30 days. 

 Theodore Pollard, of Palo Alto, Calif., for allegedly selling dubious
 investments, including ``prime bank'' securities. 

 Peter Roor, a Dutch citizen, Ronald Templin, of Kokomo, Ind., and
 Laurie Weiss, of Waynesville, Mo., for allegedly promoting at least five
 fraudulent pyramid schemes. 

 Jason Rosenthal, formerly of Gloucester, Mass., for allegedly selling
 phony interests in companies said to purchase and operate computer
 software franchises. 

 In addition, the SEC brought administrative actions, which are heard
 before the agency's administrative law judges, against these people and
 companies. The Francis case has been settled. 

 Lawrence Artz, of Roslyn, N.Y., Neurotech Corp., Enhance Resources
 Inc. and Bruce Lynch, of Brookline, Mass., for allegedly selling
 fraudulent notes for construction of prefabricated hospitals in Turkey. 

 David Francis, of Bowling Green, Ky., for allegedly selling bogus
 interests in ``prime bank'' investment programs. 

 Without admitting to or denying the allegations, Francis agreed to
 refrain from any future violations of the securities fraud laws. 

 Derrick Johnson, of Aloha, Ore., for allegedly selling fraudulent ``prime
 bank'' securities. 

 Lila Keith, of Aurora, Colo., operating under the name Keith Financial
 Services, for allegedly selling bogus ``prime bank'' securities. 

 Gary Pierce, of Studio City, Calif., and CSI Ag, registered in the Turks
 and Caicos islands, for allegedly selling interests in a phony bond
 offering. 

 Robert Stahl, of Chandler, Ariz., Elizabeth Boyd, of Oakville, Ontario,
 Canada and Fort Myers, Fla., and Bobby Rodgers, of Germantown,
 Tenn., for allegedly selling various phony ``prime bank'' investment
 programs.
