I know I'm not your average ISP customer, I'm on-line more
than 150 hours a month. Prodigy lost me because their
proxy server mode of operation and their neutered newsgroups
made them unpalatable to me.

MCI functioned acceptably, though their newsgroup support
was unreliable, until they sold me to Cable and Wireless
International, which does a fine job of operating their
news server. Now, less than a year after the sale, CWIX
is selling me to Prodigy.

Does any one know of an ISP with good newsgroup support,
unlimited time on-line, and good connect speeds in central
swampy Florida?
