EUROTEL ANNOUNCES A REVOLUTIONARY CONCEPT IN MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS


One of the most revolutionary new concepts in mobile communications for individuals will be available within days from EuroTel, and is now undergoing final tests in EuroTel's Prague headquarters and around the country following it's announcement at the INVEX trade fair in October.

As part of EuroTel's new direction of creating "Different products for different people..." this new ”GO” service will change the way people think about the affordability and simplicity of using a mobile phones as well as providing unique features so far unheard of in the Czech Republic.

It will be almost like having your own mobile payphone in your pocket or purse with the obvious advantage that you carry it with you and only pay for calls when you use it.

With no monthly fees, no contract, no invoice and no charges for checking your account balance, the ”GO” service represents the ultimate in convenience, control, simplicity and friendliness. Very importantly, the service from EuroTel leaves you in no doubt about the balance of your ”GO” account. It's displayed on the screen of your mobile phone before you make a call and after you've finished a call. The very same feature allows you to see at-a-glance what your new balance is moments after you have "re-charged" your account with a ”GO” value coupon. While ”GO” SIM cards will be available in the usual EuroTel sales outlets, recharge value coupons will also be sold at gas stations, news stands, and tobacco shops.

For the first-time cellular customer and those wanting to upgrade to the latest service EuroTel is offering an all-in-one package which includes a ”GO” SIM card, an initial 1,000 CZKc coupon of airtime (calls) and the brand new Alcatel ”One Touch Easy” phone.

The ”One Touch Easy” is the latest generation of intelligent GSM cellular phones which not only allows the display of the customer's account balance but also provides a pre-programmed softkey which with "one touch" automatically dials either the ”GO Line" or the customer's voice mail box.

The complete all-in-one ”GO” kit, with the Alcatel mobile phone, a ”GO” SIM card, and a ”GO” value coupon worth 1,000 CZKc, will cost only 8,995 CZKc (including VAT).

A customer buying the ”GO” SIM card basic pack will pay only 2,895 CZKc (including VAT). This pack also includes a ”GO” value coupon worth 1,000 Kc.

In contrast to some other pre-paid services available in Europe, EuroTel's service is valid for 6 months even after the customer's account has reached a zero balance. "We've listened carefully to the needs of our customers and some will quite clearly not want to have to revalidate their service after only 60 days " said Mac Allman, Managing Director of EuroTel.
