EUROTEL: EXCLUSIVE SPONSOR OF THE CITY RUN WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE PRAGUE INTERNATIONAL MARATHON


EuroTel Praha, Czech Republic's largest operator of mobile telephones in GSM and NMT networks, has become the exclusive sponsor of the EuroTel City Run, which will take place as part of the Prague International Marathon on Sunday, 24 May 1998.
The fun runs are the most well-attended events in the Prague International Marathon. The runs were attended by almost 20,000 recreational athletes in 1996 and by as many as 25,000 in 1997. The organizers expect similar participation this year, too! This year, the route of the EuroTel City Run will lead from Wenceslas Square through the streets of Old Town, across the Charles Bridge, through the Lesser Town, to the finish line at Old Town Square. Registration of participants will take place in the Prague International Marathon tent which will be located in the lower part of Wenceslas Square from 4 - 20 May 1998.

Participants who take part in one of the Prague International Marathon's fun runs will receive from EuroTel attractive gifts and benefits when purchasing a mobile telephone. "In May, all customers who buy a GO or GO PRO kit in one of EuroTel's outlets and present a bonus card during their purchase will receive a free bonus - a GO coupon worth 500 CZK," says Iva Taťounová, EuroTel Praha's spokesperson. "All participants in fun runs can get bonus cards during registration in the PIM tent at Wenceslas Square. Of course, all athletes who take part in one of the runs will then receive small gifts from EuroTel."
