For the second time, EuroTel Praha has become the main partner of the prestigious "Music
Academy Awards '98" project. EuroTel's logo and products will be associated
with the ceremonial announcement of "Music Academy Awards '98"
on 6 March 1999 in the Prague Veletržní palác and will be broadcast live by TV Nova.
The winners in all of the individual categories will receive, in addition to the Music
Academy Awards, practical gifts from EuroTel Praha - GO HIT sets, which
include the Siemens C10 mobile phone!
Why EuroTel? This is a joining of one of the strongest and most prestigious companies and
the year's most prestigious musical event in the Czech Republic. "We were looking for
a strong, high quality partner for the greatest musical event of the year. Our goal was to
create a permanent association of the high quality of Czech vocalists with the high
quality product of the partner company. The Music Academy Awards and EuroTel are
synonymous with communication at the highest level," stated Michal Horáček,
chairman of the Academy.
High quality music, which has high quality sound, is, as
of January of this year, also a synonym for the state-of-the-art digital technology called
SuperSound. EuroTel is the first and only operator in the Czech Republic

Music has traditionally been one of EuroTel Praha's sponsorship activities. The Rolling
Stones, Erasure, Sinéad O'Conner, and Björk visited Prague and the Czech Republic thanks
to EuroTel, and the traditional E.T.Jam summer festivals at Džbán have become very
popular. EuroTel is preparing other similarly interesting and attractive musical projects
for this year, too, and the Music Academy Awards '98 is one of these!
