EUROTEL WILL SOON MAKE IRIDIUM PHONES AVAILABLE
EuroTel, the leading operator of the
mobile phones networks in the Czech Republic, is pleased to learn that the ČTÚ has
approved use of the Iridium Satellite Communications System in the Czech Republic.
"We are now awaiting type-approval for Iridium phones, following which we will
make them available to EuroTel customers," emphasized Ed Kingman, Managing
Director of EuroTel.
The addition of Iriduim´s global service is an important enhancement of our own offering.
EuroTel customers already enjoy the finest coverage in the Czech Republic, now covering
98% of the Czech population, and only EuroTel customers can take advantage of SuperSound
technology, which transmits conversation even more clearly than standard GSM. EuroTel
provides leading edge SuperSound to all GSM customers free of charge.
On top of that EuroTel, as the first telecommunications company in the Czech Republic,
was awarded the prestigious international ISO 9001 Quality certificate. A certificate such
as ISO 9001 is important not only for large businesses that prefer to purchase goods and
services at certified partners, but also for other customers for whom the certification is
a proof of top quality services.
