EUROTEL RECEIVES AWARD IN "GREEN LINE '98" COMPETITION

EuroTel's free Green Line (toll-free line) placed among the top three in the competition among all such free of charge lines in the Czech Republic. The competition was organized by SPT TELECOM Inc., and the main criterion in the evaluation was the number of calls received over these lines during the year.

"The excellent standing that EuroTel's Green Line achieved was pleasant for us, but it was no surprise to us, either. We began using the Green Line immediately from their start in Czech Republic, because such a dynamically developing company as EuroTel surely needs to provide high quality information services for its clients, and this is an ideal method. EuroTel went right out and opened several green lines. Besides the much-appreciated 0800-180 011 that serves EuroTel customers, there is another EuroTel line, 0800-180 033, which is intended for those who have just begun thinking about buying a EuroTel mobile phone. The toll-free numbers are obviously accessible from fixed lines, or directly from mobile phones (*11).

Via these toll-free numbers, callers can be provided with detailed information on all EuroTel products and services, on individual handsets, on the basic programs and supplemental services, or on the level of coverage in different localities and regions.
The toll-free lines are staffed by operators who handle over 21,000 calls a day!

"A condition for the error-free functioning of the green lines is operators who have been very well trained, as they must provide detailed, precise, and, above all, the latest information at all times. We always keep this in mind, and that is why we pay the greatest heed to the quality of the services we provide over our green lines," adds Ivan Balcar, Director of the Customer Care Department.
