EuroTel has prepared a new service, EuroTel NetCall-55, which will make it possible
for all EuroTel customers to make less expensive international calls by using EuroTel´s
new IP-telephony gateway.
Continued improvements in Internet technologies now enable international IP networks
to provide voice quality very comparable to traditional networks, at a fraction of the
cost of traditional international calls. EuroTel customers could choose to take advantage
of the lower costs of EuroTel NetCall-55 in a specific situation or to use the
standard method for calling abroad.
"When the Czech Telecommunication Office (ÈTÚ) will finish its formal approval
proceedings, EuroTel NetCall-55 will be immediately available to our customers. We
will offer our customers less expensive international calling, while maintaining high
sound quality. Above all, EuroTel NetCall-55 will be a legal service, and this is
what we consider to be a very important in our services," said Ed Kingman, the
Managing Director of EuroTel, upon announcing the new service.
The great feature of the new EuroTel NetCall-55 service is its easy accessibility
and simplicity of operation. The customer doesn´t need to think about what group of
countries the number called is located in; to use the service, it is enough to dial 55
instead of the traditional 00, followed by the number being called in the proper
international format, beginning with the country code. For example, a EuroTel customer
calling the US would dial 55 followed by 1 for the US, and then the telephone number.
EuroTel NetCall-55 will be available immediately to all EuroTel customers; there is
no need to register and no activation fee. EuroTel customers will be able to save
significantly with the advantageous prices of EuroTel NetCall-55. EuroTel
NetCall-55 will be available to pre-paid GO customers as well. Details on EuroTel
NetCall-55 prices to all countries will be included in EuroTel´s price lists.
"EuroTel NetCall-55 is further proof of the quality and value that we
provide our customers, so they can truly get More Out of Life," Ed Kingman
concluded.
