NEW SERVICES FOR
PEOPLE VISITING GREAT BRITAIN
The following information is designed primarily for
those EuroTel Praha customers who travel to Great Britain. Some of you are already taking
advantage of the roaming service, one of the largest advantages offered by the EuroTel GSM
Global network to its customers. Just a while ago we couldn't have imagined taking a walk
in Paris and having a telephone in our pocket which would let us call where we needed
to.... Today it is a reality which has become a daily reality for some of us. It's getting
to the point where we can't even imagine that it was ever otherwise. Development goes on
and one of our roaming partners has introduced a service for Great Britain visitors which
could make your stay more pleasant no matter if its vacation or a business trip. If you
travel to Great Britain, are a EuroTel GSM Global customer, and have acquired the roaming
service, then know that you'll be advised and assisted in the GSM network of the Cellnet
company at telephone number 1515 with any tricky situation.
CELLNET UK ASSISTANCE is provided for people visiting Great Britain with
a GSM telephone at telephone number 1515. At this number, you will be advised and assisted
in 10 world languages in the following matters:
-medical services
-motorist assistance (information on roads and car repairs)
-hotel information, including reservations
-car rental
-traveling information
-new reports on current events from around the world, sports, weather
-international flower delivery
-ticket reservation for theaters, including purchase
-other matters by demand
The cost of calling 1515 is the same as for calling any other number in Great Britain. The
specific amount for one calling minute can be found in the service price list for the GSM
Cellnet network. If the service includes third party labor (car repair or flower
delivery), payment of these services must be calculated separately. Let us also point out
that the GSM Cellnet network appears on the display as UK CELLNET or CLNET and the network
code is 234 10.
EUROTEL AND LUCIANO PAVAROTTI |
On December 22, 1996, people living in and visiting Prague had the chance to witness a
unique event--a concert by the world-class tenor, Luciano Pavarotti. EuroTel had the honor
of hosting the Maestro at the Prague Castle and putting on a gala dinner in his honor. The
executive director, Mac Allman, and his spouse met with Maestro Pavarotti the day he
arrived. During a press conference in the hotel Intercontinental, Mr. Allman presented the
opera singer with a gift--a Nokia 2110 mobile phone with a special cover and signature of
Pavarotti himself. |

Surely you recall this telephone. You saw its
design on billboards, on television, and in the press. Maybe you even own it since there
was a contest for it on Radio Classic and Frequency 1.
We are glad to be able to bring this experience to you from this unique and, dare we say,
historic event from last year. Along with Eeská televize, EuroTel has prepared a
recording of the concert and visit of Maestro Pavarotti in Prague. This documentary is
coming to ET screens in the spring and winter of 1997. The company's slogan "Always
with you" has again fulfilled its purpose.

EUROTEL CHRISTMAS CONTEST
Christmas is far behind us, but we will, nonetheless,
return to it a bit in the following lines. Many of you are surely awaiting with
anticipation to find how our Christmas contest turned out. We were delighted by the great
response and are glad to have contributed to your pleasant holiday spirit. We received a
total of 4793 response cards, of which 27 were incorrect and 276 invalid. On January 23,
4490 correctly filled-out response cards were mixed up in the drawing wheel from which
Jamie Macdonald, the director of sales and marketing, drew 10 lucky winners. And who are
