Fax mail

Do you use the EuroTel Message service? Then you're definitely aware of the indisputable advantages and benefits of voice mail which records your messages when you can't or don't want to take the call.

Expanded options as of July 1st
Fax mail
Starting July 1st, you can choose from two message services: Voice Mail and Fax Mail. Voice Mail is the original message service which offers the same functions but is now named differently. Fax Mail, about which we wrote in our magazine's last edition, offers all of the same basic functions of Voice Mail, but additionally offers a number of other features.

What do both mails offer you?
The basic functions of Voice and Fax Mail are identical (Fax Mail offers all the functions of Voice Mail). They share a common trait which is that they are both substantially more effective mails compared to the classic telephone answering machine and offer far wider use options.

Both mails ensure absolute discretion and are distinguished by their very simple use.

Voice Mail's main function is the recording of messages from callers when you're not available. Not only can you be informed of a new message on your mobile phone, but at another telephone number you choose, as well.

Fax Mail functions
Fax Mail is distinct primarily in its ability to receive fax messages. It brings together in itself the functions of an answering machine and a fax machine, but as opposed to these machines, your Fax Mail is always with you!

In the NMT system, faxes are sent to your telephone number. Conversely in the GSM Global network, they are sent to a special fax number whose activation you must request. With Fax Mail, you can receive faxes and still don't need a PCMCIA card.

Fax Mail has an extraordinary function of receiving multiple fax messages at once--your fax number will never be busy!

Another exceptional feature of Fax Mail is its ability to send you message--voice or fax--to the entered number or group of numbers. All you have to do is contact Fax Mail, record the message, and enter the number to which you want the message delivered. Fax Mail then calls the given number, transfers the message, and thus saves you lots of time.

Billing for Fax Mail
Your Fax Mail will be activated free of charge. In the GSM Global network, you will be charged an activation fee of only 500 CZK (normally 1000 CZK!) for the fax service upon activation of Fax Mail. And if you're in a hurry, you won't even have to pay that!

The monthly fee for using Fax Mail and fax services is identical for the NMT Classic and GSM Global networks and is set at 95 CZK. For connecting to mail (e.g. for entering a number to which the mail is to send the fax message for printing), you will be billed the same rate as in Voice Mail, i.e. 3 CZK per minute. You will pay the same amount for printing the fax message at a certain location as if you had called the given number from your mobile phone.

Do you want to activate Fax Mail?
If you use the NMT Classic network or if you use a GSM mobile phone with an already activated fax service, just fill out the Change Application and send it to our fax number 02/6701 6733 (forms available at our telephone number 02/6701 6701 or *11 from your mobile phone). You will then be sent instructions with a description of the Fax Mail function.

We ask GSM Global network users without an activated fax service to visit the nearest EuroTel brand-name store, authorized dealer or business partner.

In conclusion...
It is clear that Voice and Fax Mail have a number of useful functions which make them a very effective communications tool. Irrespective of which mail you choose, it will surely become an indispensable helper in your everyday life.
