timely bill delivery

Even though EuroTel pays maximal attention to ensuring that bills are delivered on time, occasional customer complaints that the bill comes late or not at all show that there is room for improvement in this field as well. Considering the entry of other factors into the entire process, please think with us to find where these mistakes arise and how to best prevent them.

Everything for rapid and inexpensive delivery
Regular monthly bills comprise the predominant part of mail send to customers from EuroTel. Printing them and putting them in envelopes is done in our in-house printing center which is equipped with modern technology. In order that this equipment be equally used, customer are automatically divided into multiple billing cycles beginning in one calendar month when they close a contract. That's why customers can have diversely set intervals for which they are charged for the service. This interval always remains the same as does the length of all the billing cycles (30 or 31 days).
Printing the bills is carried out by category according to zip code and the parcels are brought to the post office in bulk on the closest working day--directly to the central automatic mail sorter. This eliminates the risk of losing mail before sorting and simplifies the next stage of delivering the mail for the post office. Time, quantity and financial aspects lead EuroTel to sending the service bills as regular mail as is done by comparable service and energy providers.
Telephone Multiple telephones doesn't have to mean multiple bills
If you purchase your telephones gradually, it's advantageous when buying them to know your EuroTel account number and to request the salesclerk that your newly purchased telephone be added to it (to be sure, it's best to take an old bill with you). You can thus ensure that you will be billed for all your telephones on one joint invoice, thus reducing the risk of "forgetting" about any of your telephones either when making normal payments or when reporting a change in address, expanding services, etc. You can also rest assured that you won't lose track of your costs for the individual telephones, but that you'll get everything in one envelope.

Mails takes up to two days

Cases of customers complaining that their service bills come late or sometimes not at all have led us even more to try to ascertain the source of the delivery problem. We turned to the Czech Postal Service for information. The poll results of an independent agency point to growing customer satisfaction with the quality of provided services, including the rapidity and success of delivering regular mail. The most tracked quality indicator is the average percent of parcels which are delivered within two working days from the time the post office takes receipt of them. Last year, nearly 98% of regular mail was delivered in this time frame.
According to a statement by the Czech Postal Service, the late or completely impossible delivery of mail almost always originates on the part of the sender or addressee.

What can you do for proper delivery to your mail box?
The main thing is the correct address. In the case of correspondence from EuroTel, this is the address for delivering bills (and other information) which the customer states in drafting the contract. When entering the address, it is very important to state the correct zip code. By giving the zip code specific for your street or town and with which you precisely designate the respective delivering post office, you assist in the direct, and thus quicker and more reliable delivery of mail. Listing both building numbers on the street (i.e. the serial number (blue) and the land-registry number (red)) in the address should be a given.
Accessibility to and sufficient marking of the mail box is also very important for reliable delivery of mail. For instance, in the case when more than one person with the same name lives in a building, the mail box number in the building should also be listed in the address. If as a small businessman you purchase a mobile phone "for the company" and list its name in the address for delivering EuroTel bills, then you must also have this name on your mail box. You can't rely on the fact that you have always gotten your mail properly in the past. Unpleasantries can arise when a new postman begins when yours is on vacation or sick.

Attention to address changes
The billing address doesn't have to agree, for instance, with the address from the business register or your personal identification card and may be easily changed upon request. Since this significantly affects the relationship with the customer, written confirmation of this change is required. Customers who have multiple telephones on separate bills must proceed especially carefully. In order to enable EuroTel employees to make all the desired changes, it's not enough to make notification of your company's change in address, but you must also exactly identify all your accounts (or telephones). You should pay more attention the following month to checking your bill. In order to guarantee that all the information needed for making the change is provided, the pre-printed form should be used which is available at EuroTel sales locations or can be sent to you upon request.

In conclusion
We trust that we are doing everything possible to make our mutual correspondence go as smoothly as possible. Since it is also in your interest to support this effort, we repeat in conclusion the most important principles for the timely delivery of your bill.

Most important principles for timely bill delivery:
• if you have multiple telephones, they should be merged to one joint bill.
• state the precise and complete address
• state the precise zip code, not global
• ensure the accessibility to your mail box
• check if the delivery address exactly agrees with the mail box marking
• make notification of address changes
