E.T. JAM '97 was one of the events where the main sponsor was our company, EuroTel. The
festival took place at the camp of Prague’s Džbán swimming pool, and it must be
emphasized that it earned praises not only from the visitors, but also from music critics.
A respectable number of bands performed at the open-air stage, among them the two main
magnets of the night. First, Erasure, who nicely warmed up the audience, and just before
midnight Sinéad O'Conner, the star of the summer night. Her shining performance was then
followed by fireworks, the colorful effects of which were welcomed by the audience by loud
cheers.
This, of course, was not the end of E.T. JAM. The main excitement moved to the canvas tent
where alternative music had been playing already for several hours. From early evening
until the following morning's early hours, music enthusiasts could dance and sing to the
numbers of Tata Boys, Colorfacktory, Ecstasy of st. Teresa, Monika Načeva, Speadhead,
Spooky and Jimmy Čert. Red beer also premiered in Prague at the E.T. JAM which is made
outside of Brno and nowhere else in the World. |
