EuroTel Praha together with the IT firms System602 and Software602 have developed an entirely new product for their customers - 602forGSM - the key to making a wider use of the data services of the EuroTel GSM Global network. 602forGSM is a many-sided computer program created specially for users of GSM mobile phones. It enables you to receive and send faxes, short text messages (SMS), software files, and email messages. it also gives you access to the extensive information sources of the Internet. All this within the framework of a unique Czech user environment. The program works in the Windows 95 operating system and communicates with the GSM mobile phone by means of a PCMCIA cellular data card. The data can be freely edited in the program, for instance existing addresses can be deleted or new addresses can be added, and the updated version can then be entered back into the mobile phone. This opens up for the user the possibility of using the extensive services and information sources of the world-wide Internet wherever and whenever the user chooses. EMAIL 602forGSM enables the collection and sending of email messages by a GSM mobile phone.
