![A New Offer For Giro Account Users](../imgs_us/n_m4_giro.GIF)
How can you arrange for direct billing from your Giro
account? To arrange for it is very easy - all you have to do is to go to the branch of the
Czech Savings Bank in which you have your account, to bring with you the last monthly bill
from EuroTel Praha, and to agree with the automatic direct billing from your Giro account.
In the bank you can also set the direct billing limit, which must be at least CZK 2000.
According to the accounting period assigned to you by EuroTel, the Savings Bank will set
the payment date, at which the amount corresponding to the charged services will be paid.
Also, you will be told the date of the first automatic direct billing. On your bank
statement, the payments for the mobile services will be identified as "EUROTEL",
and there will be a note on your EuroTel bills "Do not pay, paid by direct
billing!"
Note: The savings bank will not accept a deposit order as constituting an agreement with
automatic direct billing on a regular basis from your Giro account. A deposit order can be
used for making a single transfer order at the savings bank.
Does the limit suit your needs?
Your payments will be made automatically, unless the amount exceeds the limit you set. In
case the limit is exceeded, you will receive a bill from EuroTel with a note "Direct
billing limit exceeded - bill not settled!", and together with the bill you will
receive an IPB (Investment and Postal Bank) payment slip, which is accepted at any Post
Office in the Czech Republic. If this situation repeats, or you find out that the limit
you set is too low, you are recommended to change the direct billing limit to your Giro
account in the branch of the savings bank where you have your account.
If you don't know how to set an optimum limit, use the following advice. The limit should
be derived from the average amount of your total expenses for mobile phones for the last
few accounting periods. If the average amount of your bills is CZK 2350, the limit should
be set somewhere between CZK 3000 to 4000.
Important Information
* If you find out that there is a discrepancy between the amount transferred from your
account by the savings bank and the amount on the EuroTel bill, contact the branch of the
Czech Savings Bank in which you placed your transfer order.
* The direct billing payment from the Giro account does not affect your right to complain
about the call time charged. If you ever decide to cancel the standing order to your Giro
account, you must apply at the branch of the savings bank in which you have your account.
If you have not found here a fully satisfying explanation of the possibilities of the
direct billing payments from Giro accounts, contact please the staff at the Customer
