The number of telephone inquiries which the
customers make with the Customer Service Department of the EuroTel Praha company has
increased together with the widening of the spectrum of provided services and the
increasing number of customers. Today, we would like to introduce to you in detail the
structure of this department and its main activities.
The call center is a department with which you are often in contact. The operators who
answer all your phone inquiries work here. The most frequent questions concern the
description of functions and services supported by particular types of mobile phones of
the Classic and GSM Global networks, the use of voice and fax boxes, the blocking of
calls, information about the roaming partners, identification of individual items on
bills, information about the signal coverage, information about the provided service
programs etc. It is also in this department that the selected changes based on your phone
requests are made. The condition of our correct and fast response to your requirements is,
of course, full and correct customer identification. The operators are available 24 hours
a day.
The administration is a place where we deal with received mail, especially with the
requests for written statements concerning individual items on the invoice, questions
about intended signal coverage etc. The fax number of the Administration is 02/ 6701 6733.
Please, use the address of the Customer Service Department for any requests in writing.
The department of activation of new phone numbers deals with your written requests for
changes, i.e. temporary deactivation or reactivation of the phone number, a change of
service program, activation or deactivation of optional services, connection to roaming,
change of address etc.
Payment Control is a department whose main task is contact with customers whose payment,
for whatever reason, was not received within the payment period. The received payment
confirmations are also processed here, and the numbers for which the payment has not been
made on time are deactivated. The staff of this department are available from Monday to
Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the phone number 02 / 6701 1731 or *22 (from a
mobile phone). The fax number is 02 / 6701 1718. |

In the department to which you can pay a personal visit we
provide you with information about the services we offer. Here, you can also apply for any
change, or make a complaint about the bill. The address of the department is EuroTel
Praha, Sokolovská 855/225, Prague 9 - Vysoeany, and you can come from Monday to Friday
between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The Customer Service Department further consists of offices whose responsibility is to
provide training for new staff, to test the quality of the network, to ensure updated
information for the Conversant voice information system, and to store and register all
documents. To be able to provide a high quality service also in the future, we intend to
open a new branch of the Customer Service Department in the first quarter of 1998, which
will be located outside Prague, in the town of Poíbram.
