EuroTel Praha, the main partner of Czech hockey, joins the mass of well-wishers and congratulates our hockey players on their fantastic success at the XVIII Olympic Games in Nagano. Along with SPT TELECOM, the official partner of the Czech Olympic Committee, EuroTel Praha accepted the general sponsorship of the NAGANO 98: MEDAL ELATION photography exhibit which was was held in the Ambit gallery on Jungmannovo nám. 18, Prague 1, from March 1-15. The photographs´ creator was Eduard Eben, the COC official photographer who captured on 120 pictures exciting moments of the XVIII Winter Olympic Games in Nagano and the triumphant return of our medalists back to the homeland. The exhibit was opened on March 2 by the Czech Olympic Committee chairman MUDr. Milan Jirásek. The exhibit´s vernissage was also attended by EuroTel Praha representatives, the general director Mac Allman, and the press spokesperson Iva Tatounová. As special thanks and in honor of our “golden boys,“ a special series of Ford KA cars were produced--“Golden K“ with a Nokia 3110 telephone and car installment set. The limited series contains only 23, just like the members of the winning hockey team. Two cars were cerimonially presented to Prague Sparta players Milan Knilicek and František Kucera on Friday, March 6, 1998, before the Sparta Prague-Ceské Budejovice match (1:0) as a gift from EuroTel Praha and Ford Charouz.
