At present, roughly half a million people in the Czech
Republic own a mobile phone. Proportional to the number of telephones, the number of
problems with the telephones is also growing. For the most part, these problems are caused
by misuse. You may be unpleasantly caught offguard by possible repairs only because some
problems can be eliminated only by replacing the entire switchboard. In some cases, the
cost of the repair can reach or even exceed the purchase price. For someone who is used to
working with a mobile phone, it is a very tricky situation when they have to borrow
another phone while theirs is being repaired. And there is not an infinite number of
telephones to borrow and rarely is it the same type as your telephone. It pays off to
respect a few of the following recommendations.
• Do not leave the telephone overnight in the car or
outside. It is not only a matter of risk of theft, but the telephone is exposed to
probable moisture condensation. Water and liquids are enemy number one for mobile phones.
They will surely destroy the entire telephone.
• Enemy number two = drop and shock. They affect the most sensitive parts of the
telephone. Small telephones are frequently carried in coat pockets, jackets, shirts, etc.,
and almost never fall onto a pillow.
• Do not recharge until the battery has died. Do not overcharge. Improper care
significantly reduces the battery´s lifetime.
• Do not leave the telephone on in reach of a dog without supervision. Dogs try to
silence ringing objects and they always succeed. The degree of damage depends on the size
of the dog.
• Use the car-mounting set. They are the best not only for the telephone, but also
increase road safety. Their cost is ridiculous compared to the potential consequences of
an accident.
• Reserve a place at home to store the telephone. You will avoid breaking it by sitting
on it, etc.
• If you succeed in injuring your mobile sweetheart, do not repair it yourself. The
temperature of a common soldering iron will destroy the delicate parts.
• Do not leave the telephone in the sun for long. High temperature damage it.
