Reliable connection
The Nokia 6150 works together with GSM 900m and GSM 1800 networks and the GSM 900/1800
dual-band network and even switches between these networks automatically during a call if
the networks have a common operator. It always chooses the network with the strongest
available signal, which lets you take full advantage of the connection even if multiple
people are calling at once, like after a soccer match. Thanks to the use of special
channels, it achieves better voice quality and more reliable data transmission. The Nokia
6450 expands roaming options since it can choose from multiple networks when you're
traveling.
Bit by bit
An infrared interface is built into the Nokia 6150 to facilitate wireless communication
between the telephone and a compatible PC-without wires tangling on your desk.
Perfect personal assistant
As if you always had your personal assistant at your side. The telephone even includes a
calendar with a clock. You can write down the dates of meetings and other notes and set
the clock to let you know, for instance, when it's your mother's birthday. You can quickly
change the telephone setting to conform to various environments, like a meeting, weekend
or home. For instance, the ringer can be switched to silent alert at meetings and the
telephone will react only to incoming calls from partners in the VIP category. With the
weekend profile, you can set the ring volume high, but your telephone will accept only
personal calls. You can set various ring tones for various caller categories-for instance,
the "Ode to Joy" melody for calls from family members.
Rings from the air
The Nokia 6150 model supports Smart Messaging services. That means that new telephone
functions, like new ring tones, can be sent directly to your telephone.
