On February 17 the GO SMS service was activated for all users of pre-paid GO cards,
automatically and at no extra charge. Now these EuroTel Praha customers also have access
to the unlimited world of short text messages.
What does GO SMS offer?
SIMPLICITY

charge!
SPEED
Amounts charged for GO SMS messages sent or for use of the GSM InfoText service are
deducted from your credit, up to a maximum of approximately 15 minutes.
CONSTANT CONTROL
Every time you use GO SMS you get a message telling you about the value deducted for the
relevant number of GO SMS messages sent.
ATTRACTIVE PRICE
Sending one GO SMS message costs CZK 3.30 (including VAT). Receiving SMS messages is free.
What does GO SMS offer you in terms of your new options with your GO telephone?
Not only is it no problem to send SMS messages to any GSM phone at home or abroad, but,
thanks to the SMS Plus service, you can also send short text messages to fax machines, to
Internet e-mail addresses or to pagers.
The GSM InfoText service also allows GO telephones to receive a wide variety of
professional and entertainment information. From a database of jokes, weather forecasts,
cinema and theatre listings, up-to-date traffic information, Czech Press Agency news from
home and abroad, to specialist information from financial institutions.
Last but not least, the SMS Reminder service means that GO telephones can become a
reliable assistant that is always on hand in the form of a planning calendar.
Important advice for sending GO SMS:
The Text Messages Centre’s number must be set and stored in the appropriate part of the
GO telephone menu: The number is +420 602 909909 (like that, in international format).
(NB: the “Text Messages Centre” can also have a different name in the mobile phone,
e.g. Messages Centre, Message Centre Number, Service Centre etc.)
Always use the full format of the GO SMS receiver’s number, i.e. 0602 XXX XXX or 0606
YYY YYY.
If you send GO SMS to other international GSM networks, the receiver’s full
international number must be used, e.g. +421 903 XXX XXX.
You can receive more information on GO SMS on the GO line *88 or in the GO SMS Freedom
without the Talk brochure. You can find information on GSM InfoText, SMS Plus and SMS
Reminder in the Guide to SMS, GSM InfoText and SMS Plus, which are available in all
EuroTel outlets or on the Internet at www.eurotel.cz.
