PAYMENT BY DIRECT DEBIT SAVES YOU TIME –

We live in hectic times. Many of us are forced to spend more and more time on our work.
Blinded by work, however, many of us do not even notice that time, previously our friend,
is starting to work against us like an enemy who quietly but mercilessly steals the
portion of our lives intended for our family and friends and for ourselves and our own
interests, without which we would not be able to gather new strength and “recharge our
batteries”.
Stop and think a while! There are now so many ways of limiting certain kinds of work to a
minimum! Ways of saving not just valuable and irreplaceable time, but also money, whilst
still achieving the same, if not better results.
One example of this is paying bills, which we all have too many of. Are you still trekking
off to the bank and the post-office every time you need to pay a bill? Here there is an
excellent opportunity for saving your valuable time! EuroTel offers you DIRECT DEBIT – a
modern and at the same time the most efficient way of paying for the services used.

DESERVE IT!!
The possibility of paying your mobile phone bills by DIRECT DEBIT is already used by a
large quantity of our customers. We would like to remind those of you who do not pay this
way of the advantages that this form of payment brings and explain some of the details.
DIRECT DEBIT is a modern and efficient payment method, under which you do
not have to pay your bills repeatedly by credit transfer or by postal order. You have the
certainty that your bills will be paid in time and you do not expose yourself to the risk
that your mobile phone will be cut off for non-payment.
Even with DIRECT DEBIT you will of course continue to receive Bills for
Telecommunications Services, which will show the total sum charged for use of your mobile
phone in a given billing period.
You will easily recognise bills that you pay by direct debit – they will be furnished
with a note saying “Do not pay for the current period, paid for by credit transfer”.
If you are a customer of the T!P network, starting to use DIRECT DEBIT reduces
your regular monthly fee for the T!P 60 and T!PTOP programmes.
From 1.3.1999, GSM network customers can also enjoy this reduction in the regularly
monthly fee (more details on pages 6-7).
How can you arrange DIRECT DEBIT?
All you need is a current account at any bank
in the Czech Republic or sporogiro account at Česká spořitelna. You then authorise
unlimited collection or limited collection on this account and ask the bank for a
“Confirmation of Opening an Account for Payment by Direct Debit” in favour of EuroTel
Praha. Then send the bank confirmation and a written “Application for Payment by Direct
Debit” by post or fax to the Customer Care Department, or hand it in to any brand outlet
or authorised dealer of EuroTel Praha. |

NB: The charge for the billing period during which you request the introduction of payment
by direct debit will be paid for by direct debit provided that the application is
delivered to us at least 7 working days before the end of the relevant billing period. The
minimum period of payment by DIRECT DEBIT is three billing periods.
An advantage for you – limited DIRECT DEBIT
If you have set a direct debit limit (minimum CZK 2000) for your customer code, i.e.
limited direct debit, you have a guarantee that no sum higher than the limit you have set
will be deducted from your account.
Bills for a sum higher than your limit will always include a notice “Limit exceeded –
bill not paid! Pay by credit transfer or postal order.” In that case the amount billed
will not be automatically deducted from your account and the bill will have to be paid in
full by credit transfer or by postal order.
Unlimited DIRECT DEBIT
You can also leave your direct debit without limit. In such an event, however, your
account must be open for EuroTel Praha without limit. Then all bills to your customer code
for calls will be paid by direct debit, regardless of the size of the overall amount for
the given billing period.
Important information for you:
If you decide to pay for EuroTel’s services by direct debit, this in no way restricts
your right to claim refunds.
On the other hand, of course if your bank account does not contain sufficient funds at the
time of the transaction, you are not released from the obligation to pay for the services
provided by EuroTel.
Can Direct Debit be cancelled?
Direct debit can be cancelled in writing by a letter or fax sent to the Customer
Care Department or by filling in the “Application for a Change” form at any brand
outlet or authorised dealer of EuroTel Praha.
