noindent {bf GENERAL INFORMATION: }
The 15th International Conference on Physics in Collision will
be held from June 8 to June 10, 1995 at the Marian Mic esowicz
Centre of High Energy Physics in Cracow, Poland. It is organized
by the Institute of Nuclear Physics, by the Department of Physics and Nuclear
Techniques of the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy and by
the Institute of Physics of Jagellonian University.
Cracow (Krak'ow) was the capital of Poland for several centuries.
It is here that the Jagellonian University was founded in 1364.
The conference center is located in Reymonta Street with another access
from Kawiory Street (a map will be attached to the final bulletin).
A nearby restaurant has been booked for lunches. This center is 25 min
walking distance from the the Old City, where most of the hotels are located.
The conference will begin on Thursday, June 8 at 9:00h and
end on Saturday, 10 of June around 18:00h. Participants are
expected to arrive in Cracow on Wednesday, June 7.
The registration desk will be open on Wednesday from 15:00h to 23:00h
in the Hotel "Pod R'o.zc a" as well as on Thursday morning
at the conference center. Sessions will be held from 9:00h to 12.30h
and from 14:00h to 18:00h.

noindent {bf SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME: }
The aim of the "Physics in Collision" conferences is to provide
a thorough and comprehensive overview of high energy physics.
These yearly international meetings consist of three days of
exclusively review talks, given by invited speakers who are
specifically asked not to dwell on their own work or experiments.
As a result these conferences have taken on a unique character,
ideally suited for those who, in a minimum of time, wish to be
brought up to date on the current status of particle physics.
This year the conference will consist of a series of about 24 review talks.
A tentative programme is attached to the bulletin.
The talks will be published in the conference proceedings. \
hspace*{6mm}A poster session will be organized and the list of
authors and titles of the posters will be published in the
proceedings. People who are interested should send title and
abstract as well as approximate size of the poster (at most
$80times120 cm^{2}$) to the Local Organizing Committee
before May 7th.\

noindent {bf CANCELLATION: }
If you have to cancel your registration, please contact immediately the
organizing committee by fax or by e-mail.
For cancellation prior to May 7th 1995, the conference
registration fee will be reimbursed, less $25 service charge.

noindent {bf ACCOMMODATION - HOTELS: }
Hotel accommodation will be supplied through the conference
secretariat. A reservation form (attached to this bulletin,
also available via e-mail) should be sent back as soon as possible.
Please, note that a number of places in a given class is limited and they will
be attributed on the "first comes, first served" basis.
Each hotel provides bed and breakfast.
Most rooms are with a bathroom, the remaining have a shower.
Reservation deadline is May 7th, 1995.
noindent {bf COMMUNICATION: }
Computer center for electronic communication will be
set up at the Conference Center. It will enable you to read and
send e-mail and to connect to your home facility via Internet.
It should be used for e-mail purposes only.
bigskip
noindent {bf WEATHER:}
The June weather in Cracow is generally pleasant with temperature
around $18^{o}$C but showers are also frequent at this time.

noindent {bf ACCESS TO CRACOW: }
{parskip=0.0pt baselineskip=15pt smallskip
noindent {bf By plane: }
Cracow airport offers direct connections with Cologne, Dresden, Hanover,
Frankfurt, London, Paris, Rome and Vienna; further connections might be
opened in spring. There are several flights per day to and from
the Warsaw airport which is directly connected with most European cities
and some American ones. On the other hand there is a danger that
the Cracow airport will be closed for repairs so better check with your
travel agency before planning the trip. If you fly to Cracow on June 7
please let us know so we could organize a meeting point and transportation.
If you terminate your flying at Warsaw take the Airport-City bus which will
bring you directly to the railway station. Taxis are also available but
more expensive. Do not leave your things unattended at the station.
noindent {bf By train:}
A fast train (eight connections per day) takes less
than three hours to travel between Warsaw Central Station
(Warszawa Centralna) and Cracow Main Station (Krak'ow Gl{{}'owny).
The latter is situated in the centre of the town, within a walking
distance to the old town hotels. Taxis are available at the
Station.
noindent {bf By car:}
>From Italy and Switzerland drive via Vienna, cross the Polish border at Cieszyn,
then continue through Bielsko and Tychy.
>From Germany, Low Countries and France go via Berlin or Dresden then continue
via Wrocl aw and Tychy.
The price of fuel in Poland is about $0.50/liter. Unleaded fuel is available
at larger gasoline stations.
bigskip
noindent {bf PARKING: }
The Old Town is closed for cars except for taxis and guests of the
hotels (give the name of your hotel if you are stopped by the police).
There are some guarded parking places close to the hotels where you can
safely leave your car for about $0.50/hour. They will be shown
on the map attached to the final bulletin. There is
a big parking at the conference site.
bigskip
noindent {bf PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IN CRACOW:}
Public bus and streetcar services are available. Taxis called by phone
from a hotel or the conference site are recommended.
noindent {bf VISAS: }
Although Poland has no-visa agreements with most countries
(including nearly all European and USA) some participants might still
need a visa to enter Poland. For detailed visa information please
contact the nearest Polish Embassy or Consulate.
bigskip
noindent {bf MONEY: }
Banks accept travellers' cheques. Please note that almost all banks
are closed during weekends. However, an easy way of changing cash is at
the numerous small agencies called "Kantor", which offer slightly better
rates of exchange while being perfectly legal and trustworthy. In addition
they work on Saturdays and some on Sundays.
Most of the hotels accept credit cards.\
hspace*{6mm}Please, note that two sorts of Polish currency ("zloty") are
simultaneously used, differing by a factor of $10^{4}$. Thus one can pay 1 new
zloty for bus ticket and get a change of 3000 old zlotys.
$1$ approx 2.5$ new zlotys$ = 25000$ old zlotys.
