Word of introduction

Dear customers,

Even though spring seems to be knocking on the door and winter definitely slipping away, it’s the first time that they are coming together on the pages of our magazine. This is one reason we are delighted to introduce you to a number of pieces of good news about what we’ve prepared for you and what else we’re getting ready. Before you begin leafing through the magazine, here are a few words in which you may be interested the most as our customers.
Jamie Macdonald
NMT and GSM signal coverage of both the territory and the population of the Czech Republic still continues to be a priceless advantage available to EuroTel customers. This fact is verified by 96% coverage (98% of the population) by NMT and 66% coverage (76% of the population) by GSM. We are presently focusing not only on expanding the area coverage, but we are also trying to improve the quality of the so-called ”internal coverage,” which means that you can be in contact with your telephone when you’re on the move in large buildings, office complexes, business centers, etc. We are expending considerable efforts and money in order to increase the capacity of our network in some extremely burdened regions.

Of the services which we have prepared for you lately, we warmly recommend taking advantage of the new effective way of paying our bills--Direct Billing. This service will not only help you save your precious time, but will substantially simplify the process of making the payment itself. For customers in Moravia using the NMT system, we have prepared a regional specialty, the new Region service program which will help you save a considerable portion of your mobile phone expenditures. If this new service proves itself, we are prepared to expand it into other regions of the Czech Republic.Because we don’t wish here on the spot to unveil all of EuroTel Praha´s services which we have prepared for this year and thus deprive you of a number of pleasant surprises, we will name just a small part of them. The GSM InfoText service, available for your use beginning in April of this year, will surely catch your attention with its unique ability to receive on your GSM telephone information on the up-to-date traffic situation, weather forecasts, or foreign currency exchange rates. The hottest new service will certainly include the ability to directly log onto the Internet through your mobile phone. As opposed to today’s dial-up connection--transmission takes place additionally through a fixed telephone network--this service will facilitate your mobile phone’s direct connection with the given Internet provider. Those of you who use a larger quantity of EuroTel lines and are thus our large customers will soon be able to make use of some special services based on your individual communication needs and demands.

Now that we’ve already mentioned communication, we would like to thank you for all of your comments and inquiries addressed to us since that is precisely on of the possible means of being in contact with you, our clients, and of learning more about the challenges you encounter when using mobile phones and services. One of the proofs that these comments do not go unnoticed is the fact that our Customer Service Department converted to around-the-clock service at the beginning of this year. You can now contact Customer Service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year!

In conclusion, we would like to assure you that we appreciate the fact that you are EuroTel Praha customers and that we will continue in the future to do everything to ensure that our services continue to increase in quality.

Wishing you pleasant reading, good health, success and contentment on behalf of the entire company,

Jamie Macdonald
