WWW server covering the Winter Olympics Games

As a service to Internet users, Oppland College - Lillehammer - Norway
have made a World Wide Web server holding information about the Olympics
- mainly from a social perspective. We are planning to feed the server on
a daily basis during the days of the Olympics Winter Games with
information of general interest to the public. Information about the
weather, social life and other special events will be covered.
Due to copyright restrictions and limited resources we are unable to
provide you with actual results or information from the sporting events.
We plan to type in around 1-3 pages of information each day. The
information will contain several formats including text, pictures and
perhaps some digital video (QuickTime/MPEG).
If you would like to contribute or have spesific questions, requests or
comments, please feel free to contact us. Please keep in mind, that we
have
limited resources.

THE XVII OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES[2]
As a service to Internet users, we have a section devoted to information
about the Olympic Winter Games. We are planning to feed the server on a daily
basis during the days of the Olympic Winter Games with information of general
interest to the public. Information about the weather, social life and other
special events will be covered. Due to very limited resources promise you
daily updates and information from the sports arenas during the games. Please
continue to read about what is happening today[3].

The 17th Olympic Winter Games
This project started out a few months ago when we got several questions both
from people here in Norway and abroad, asking if we could provide information
about the Olympic Winter Games. Well, we saw a chance to promote both our
College and Lillehammer and we were only happy to oblige.
As we didn`t have any public electronic service going, we needed some sort
of server to post the information on. We saw this as an opportunity to make a
World Wide Web-server and finally, just in time, here it is.
Credits[1] are in order and here is a list of some of the people involved. We
would also like to thank all of you out there in the net, contributing to
this project.

we can to accomodate your wishes.

The games starts Saturday 12th of february and end 27th of february. Both the
opening and the closing ceremonies takes place at Lillehammer Olympic
