GO out into the world |
We have great news for
the users of GO services. EuroTel Praha, spol. s r. o., (EuroTel) now offers you a chance
to try your mobile telephone abroad. We are launching a trial operation of the GO Roaming
service. As our company always strives, first of all, to achieve the highest possible
satisfaction for our clients, we would like to ask you for cooperation in
"fine-tuning" the whole system and seeing the GO Roaming service to its full
functional potential. Stay in touch with your close
ones during your vacation abroad and help us test the whole system! With the GO Roaming
service, there is no need to look for foreign coins or telephone cards. Even in the case
of emergency, help will always be available. Until August 31, all the GO phone users have
the opportunity to try this service – without any activation fee.
By using your GO phone abroad during the mentioned period,
you will help us verify the function of the system in practice. In return, EuroTel Praha
will give you a chance to enjoy some worry-free calling abroad. In September, we will
automatically credit your GO card with an amount corresponding to the charges for your outgoing
calls made abroad up to CZK 500!
Just take your mobile phone with you on your trip and make
sure you have a sufficient number of GO coupons for the recharging of your GO card. Even
abroad, the recharging procedure remains the same as it is at home. |
|
How to
activate GO Roaming? |
1.Before leaving the CR, you
make a call from your GO telephone to the Customer Service line * 88.
2.First, you select the GO Roaming option from the automated menu.
3.Then you follow the instructions of the voice information system.
4.The system enables you to activate GO Roaming for the mobile telephone you are calling
from. |
|
How does go
roaming function? |
Using the GO phones abroad
functions on the principle of automated "call-back" ordering:
1.Before the number of the called party, which has to be in
the international format, you dial the code101; the whole
string of numbers has to be followed by the symbol.
Example: To reach another EuroTel network subscriber from other countries you dial 101 +420 602 XXX XXX
2.By sending this string you are telling the GO Roaming
system that you wish to be connected to the given telephone number.
3.In some areas, it may happen that your phone will display a system error message or
warning; this is not a real error, so kindly ignore such messages; (we are working on
eliminating these occurrences).
Examples of error messages displayed (most often in English):
NETWORK PROBLEM, NOT DONE or NOT EXECUTED.
4.Within up to 30 seconds you will be called back by the GO Roaming system which will then
complete the desired connection for you; prior to this, you will hear information about
the maximum possible length of your call.
5.End your call in the usual manner; you will then receive an SMS text message on your
remaining credit. |
|
While
abroad, you also pay for incoming calls |
And what if someone calls you?
The calling party dials the number of your GO telephone and you can speak to them
immediately. At that moment, the caller pays the same charges as if you were in the Czech
Republic while the international portion of the charges is being deducted from your
prepaid credit (see the Price Chart). |
|
Go voicemail
[the go "answering machine"] |
Voice messages are recorded in
your mailbox only when your telephone is switched off or whenever you are outside of
signal range.
To reach your voice messages from abroad dial 101 +420 602 98 98 98 . |
|
And some
other important information |
The emergency line 112 also
works abroad. |
Calling the GO Line is toll
free even from abroad. 101 +420 2 6701 1188 |
Sending short text messages
(SMS) from abroad is not possible. Receiving SMS is possible and free. |
The Call Waiting, Clip and
Clear functions, as well as conference calls, are not available while abroad. |
Calling to the Czech Republic
to numbers starting with 0609, 0605 and 0800 is not possible. |
All telephones supplied in the

Introduction |
The ability to
both receive and transmit short textual messages (SMS – Short Messaging Service)
represents one of the major advantages of mobile phones. The GO SMS Service is activated
for each GO Customer, free of charge. An SMS message may incorporate letters, digits and
other keyboard characters, up to the maximum of 160 characters in one SMS. The text
message is entered on the keyboard of your mobile phone. Communication through SMS
messages is effected discreetly so that neither the sender nor the recipient disturbs his
or her surroundings. |
|
Price and
billing |
A transmission of one SMS
message costs CZK 3.30 (VAT inclusive), receipt is free of charge. (Other services, such
as GSM InfoText and SMS Plus, are charged according to the current version of Primary
& Optional Service Price List, provided in the following brochure: Price list
applicable to services provided within EuroTel GSM Global Network.) While making use
of the GO SMS service you will still be able to keep track of your credit. There are four
ways how to update charging of sent GO SMS and credit balance on your GO card at the same
time:
1. |
Anytime after sent GO SMS you can call GO
line *88 a send the request to update charging of sent GO SMS. You will receive a short
text message with the charged amount afterwards and credit balance on your GO card will be
updated as well. |
2. |
You will receive a short text message with
the charged amount of sent GO SMS always after ten sent GO SMS and your credit will be
updated at the same time. |
3. |
You will receive a short text message with
the charged amount of sent GO SMS once a week if you have sent less then ten GO SMS. |
4. |
You will receive a short text message with
the charged amount right after sending a GO SMS if your credit balance is 15 CZK or lower.
|
|
GO SMS
features |
1. Simplicity
The service is automatically activated for all current GO SMS Customers; new GO Customers
do not need to activate the service, as it is available automatically.
2. Permanent
control
GO Customers are continuously in control of phone/ message (GO SMS) charges. When an
amount chargeable for GO SMS message is being deducted, the customer is informed
concerning the value and the number of GO SMS messages charged for, or in fact for any GSM
InfoText services, as the case may be, by a short textual message.
3. Speed
Amounts chargeable for GO SMS transmitted, or for any GSM InfoText services, are deducted
from the credit within just 15 minutes. |
When somebody calls your mobile phone, its display shows the incoming call number. You can
decide whether you want to accept the call or not. The incoming call display service is
available to all GO Card users, if the calling party allows the display of the number.
This service provides you with an option to continue a call with the first calling party,
if you wish to speak with another party that calls your mobile phone. You may switch
between the calls (both ”active” and ”hidden”) as it suits you (see the Mobile
Phone User’s Manual).
GO Voice Mailbox provided by EuroTel Company enables you to stay in touch even if you are
not available on your mobile phone. Messages are recorded for you automatically and stored
in your GO Voice Mailbox and you do not need any auxiliary recording equipment. The
messages are protected by a security code that you select.
